Roo at the Zoo Competition

Rules, Terms and Conditions and Privacy Statement

The Competition

Follow the ‘Roo at the Zoo’ photo releases on our Facebook page, which will run daily from Wednesday 1 December to Friday 24 December.

Each morning, we will reveal where our Roo at the Zoo is hiding.

There are two ‘Roo at the Zoo’ competitions that you can take part in. Participants are welcome to enter one competition or both competitions. These are:

  • Competition 1: Take your own photos of ‘Roo at the Zoo’ in five different locations (over five different days - days do not have to be consecutive)
  • Competition 2: Take a selfie with the ‘Roo at the Zoo’

Once you have your photo or photos of ‘Roo at the Zoo’, post them on the Rockhampton Zoo Facebook page or send them to the Rockhampton Zoo Facebook Messenger account to have a chance of winning a Meerkat Encounter at Rockhampton Zoo.

The very talented zookeeper team will select the winning photos and the winners will be announced on Monday 10 January 2021.
